Peter and Paul Fortress

When Peter the Great first established St. Petersburg in 1703, he built a star fortress on the water front to protect and contain his citadel. Through the ages, the Peter and Paul Fortress has served many functions including palace, garrison and political prison during the Russian Revolution. Today, it is preserved as the State Museum of Saint Petersburg and houses many historical artifacts.

You wander the galleries with your escort and are taken to a museum case that displays a letter written by Anastasia during her captivity, which has the monogram you are looking for. At first glance, nothing special seems to jump out about the letter that is unique, but the monogram ensures it contains a secret.
