MONK DORMITORY

Today, Mont Saint Michel is still an active monastery, housing a small group of monks who have dedicated their lives to service and contemplation. While the monks currently live elsewhere at the Abbey, the Monk Dormitory once housed scores of monks and was where they spent most of their day studying and meditating.

It was here that one of the victims was found sitting in the middle of the cold stone floor, with an old book open in front of her. The bookmarked page was decorated with colorful handprinted iconography and calligraphy writings. These pages must also contain the password to open the next locked box.
